Jupiter Hires Jim Hill to Coach Girls’ Varsity Program December 22, 2017 by Lee Roggenburg via press release from Jupiter HS December 18, 2017 After a lengthy search for a new Women’s Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach, Athletic Director Steve Canning hired long time Coach Jim Hill. Jim Hill is no stranger to girl’s lacrosse in South Florida. Hill was the Assistant Varsity and Head JV Coach of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Raiders in their first three seasons. In 2007, Saint Thomas Aquinas won the Girl’s Club State Championship, defeating Barron-Collier. In 2010, Hill founded the American Heritage-Plantation program and was there for five years, creating a credible program rather quickly. Within their first three seasons, they were undefeated District Champions with athletes playing at college programs like Lafayette, SCAD, Campbell and several others. He also had coaching stints at Western High School and Head Coach for the University of Miami Women’s Club Lacrosse team. Hill has also coached and trained countless athletes in numerous sports like baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, flag football and recreational and travel lacrosse programs.
